Finally...an update!

Well, I have been AWFUL about updating the girls site. Nothing too exciting has been going on here at the Butler house. Madalynn turns 2 this coming Friday. Where has the time gone??? It seems like just yesterday that she was a baby. She is using more and more words too. "I did it" is one of her favorite phrases!

Sydnie is doing great too. She is learning at least one new thing a day. I was gone for a week for some training at work and when I came home it seemed like she was doing a thousand things that she wasn't before I left.

We spent some time outside today so here are the pics! Enjoy!

Swing Set

Well, Grandma and Grandpa Gruenhagen bought the girls a new swingset for Christmas and Madalynn LOVES it. She would spend every waking moment out there if she could. Things hereat the house are moving along. We have painted almost every room and Shawn installed 6 new light fixtures over the past week. Today we ripped down all the BAD crown molding that was up and now we need to do some repairs and some more painting!

Sydnie is still doing good. As you can see from above she has started eating solids. By far her favorite is carrots. She would eat an entire container if I would let her! Madalynn has started going to Anna's (her old daycare) twice a week just to get some "kid" time. She seems to do a lot better when she can get out some of her extra energy. Having a little sister is great but she just doesn't play as much as Madalynn would like her to!

Work for me is going great. My caseload is pretty low right now so I have lots of spare time but I am sure it will pick up again. Shawn is still the XO of the Special Troops Battallion in Three Corp. All that fancy title means is long hours!

First Time!

Well, I decided that since we are so far away from so much of our families that I would create this webpage for everyone to see what the girls have been up to! Today we took them to an exotic drive-through park! At first Madalynn was REALLY tired and therefore HATED the goats that ran up to our truck. After a while she warmed up to the idea of being at the park and started to really enjoy herself.

Sydnie has been doing much better lately. She is still on her medication for the acid reflux but I think its under control. She has her 6 month check up soon so I will be able to post a lot more then!
